The 3rd UNICHS conference was held on 13th - 14th November 2024, as an online session, which began with an honorable speech delivered by the Rector of Universitas Jenderal Achmad Yani Yogyakarta, Prof. Dr. rer. nat. apt. Triana Hertiani, S.Si., M.Si, followed by remarks from the Dean of the Faculty of Health, Ida Nursanti, S.Kep., Ns., M.P.H. The event also featured several distinguished keynote speakers who shared their valuable expertise, including dr. Ira Cyndira Tresna, M.I.Kom, representing the Indonesian Ministry of Health, Varsha Singh DNP, APN, CT-CP, NEA-BC, FAHA from St. Joseph’s University Medical Center, New Jersey, US, Dr. Louise Hughes from Cardiff University, UK, Asst. Prof. Dr. Nittaya Panngam from Khon Kaen University, Thailand, Prof. Intansari Nurjanah from Universitas Gadjah Mada, and Apt. Niken Larasati, M.Si from Universitas Jenderal Achmad Yani Yogyakarta.
The conference was skillfully led by three moderators: Masta Hutasoit, M.Kep, Suwarno, MNS, and Apt. Lutfi Hidiyaningtyas, M.Si. A total of 151 participants, along with 73 selected presenters, attended the conference, which included six parallel sessions. The diverse group of presenters came from seven countries, including the United States of America, Kenya, Nigeria, Thailand, the Netherlands, and Uganda. We believe that the proceedings of the 3rd UNICHS 2024 will provide further insights that will significantly impact all of us, helping to drive meaningful change, foster collaboration, and inspire innovative solutions. These discussions and outcomes hold great potential for shaping the future of health and research communities, and we are hopeful that the knowledge shared during the conference will lead to actionable results, further strengthening our collective commitment to progress.
In collaboration with the 3rd UNICHS conference, nine reputable journals have agreed to publish the articles of our presenters, including Jurnal Ners (SCOPUS), Indonesian Journal of Nursing Practices (Sinta 2 & DOAJ), Jurnal Keperawatan Respati Yogyakarta (Sinta 2), Jurnal Kesehatan (Sinta 3), Media Ilmu Kesehatan (Sinta 3), Disease Prevention and Public Health Journal (Sinta 4), Formil Journal (Sinta 4), International Journal of Biomedical-Nursing Review (ISSN), and Healthy Behaviour Journal (ISSN).
Finally, the organizing committee of the 3rd UNICHS would like to extend our sincere gratitude to the distinguished keynote speakers who shared their invaluable insights during the plenary sessions, to all the presenters who contributed their research, and to all the authors, reviewers, and everyone who provided their support and assistance in organizing this event, ensuring its great success.
